Peace Runners continues to grow through impact, sustainability, and the strength of community. Driven by our runners, partners, and Chicago’s West Side, we believe movement is a pathway to healing, connection, and empowerment.
This year, we celebrated:

• 1,300+ participants in 5K races throughout the state
• 160+ Shamrock Shuffle 8K participants
• 230+ Chicago 13.1 runners
• 55+ marathon finishers
• 200 young people creating youth 5K finishers to marathoners

Peace Runners has also represented our community across all seven Abbott World Marathon Majors—proving that excellence can emerge from neighborhoods too often overlooked.

Our mission remains clear: advocating for health equity, educating and brining awareness to holistic health and wellness through physical, mental and social wellbeing while creating safe spaces for movement in our underserved communities.
